Tomorrow morning a team of 28, including our C3 Leadership College, leave on a mission trip to Port Au Prince, Haiti. While in Haiti, the C3 team will be working with Mission of Hope . MOH has a vision to bring life transformation to every man, woman and child in Haiti through the love of Jesus. Our team will be serving children and families in several villages, as well as helping build and paint new homes for families that are currently homeless. They will also spend time with children in the Mission of Hope orphanages.
Two years ago our Leadership College, along with several other team members from C3, went to Haiti and served with MOH and we are excited to have them return this year to see the fruit of that labor as well as all the progress that has taken place the past two years!
Join me in praying for this team as they go - that God would work through them to show the love of Jesus to the people of Haiti. Also be praying for their protection as they travel and provide real hope for real people in a real world!
May 2nd is our National Day of Prayer! I want to encourage you to press in today and pray for our nation! At C3, we are going to have our worship center open from 11:00am to 2:00pm today as a place to come and pray. But the great thing about prayer is that it can be done anywhere! Don't just pray only if you can be here at church...pray wherever you are! Pray in the carpool line, in the office, in your classroom...wherever God has you today, pray there!
2 Chronicles 7:14 says "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land."
God will lead you and guide you how you need to pray today, but here are several areas that you can help focus your prayers. You can go to Commit2Pray.com for more information as well.
